Duties
We hereby invite interested Psychology Masters’ students to submit their applications for an internship for 2025 at the Centre for Psychological Services and Career Development (PsyCaD) at the University of Johannesburg. We are looking for Educational and Counselling Psychology candidates. The core functions of the PsyCaD internship comprise of the following:
- Psychotherapeutic Services (individual, groups, couples, children, parental
guidance and families) - 24- Hour Crisis Line
- Career counselling services
- Scholastic assessments including subject choices and school readiness
- Group psycho educational workshops
- Entrepreneurial project
- Community projects
Please note that candidates will be selected based on the information required in the application package and an interview (only shortlisted candidates). Therefore ensure that all your application forms are completed accurately and legibly. All
