Duties
The ideal candidate will be responsible for Cloud migrations and services consolidations; NextGen IDP and AD solutions and get exposure to multiple Cyber Security initiatives. This role will maintain data security solutions to protect against threats and vulnerabilities, along with deep knowledge of data security products and associated concepts. Additionally, this role will require the successful candidate to make effective decisions, leveraging the agility of cloud.

Purpose Statement
- To design, implement, support and manage Cyber security solutions to protect computer systems, networks, users, and data from cyber threats and so assist in safeguarding Capitec’s digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
Requirements For Eligibility
- 3 – 5 years cyber security with exposure to and strong understanding of security protocols, systems and technologies, including proven experience in implementing security solutions.
- 2 – 3 years DevOps experience
Qualifications (Minimum): A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – Computer Science
Min: Expert knowledge of:
- Networking protocols and security architectures
- Security tools and technologies
- Latest trends and threats in cybersecurity landscape
- Cloud computing and systems
- Data management and analysis principles
