Duties
The Faculty of Humanities at the Mbombela Campus seeks to appoint markers in the department of Public Management, Law, Safety and Security Management and Applied Languages for the 2024 academic year.
Key performance area
The marker (s) in the Faculty of Humanities, is an individual responsible for marking examination scripts. The candidate must be able to:
- Provide marking in different modules offered in Communicated and Languages
Related Modules, Law and the Public Affairs Programme; and - Compile a comprehensive report after each and every marking project.

Requirements for Eligibility
- Academic qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Language Practice/African Languages/Linguistics or
Masters in Public Management/Public Affairs/Public Administration or
Masters of Laws or equivalent relevant qualification is required.
- Experience:
- Knowledge in Communication Science, Public Affairs and Law
- Ability to marks assessments manually and online
Registration with professional body (if applicable): - None
- Knowledge and Skills
- Basic computer skills such as Microsoft, Excel, and Power Point
- Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
