About Twizza

It all started in 1980 with a dairy farm, a herd of cows and a desire to create the best life for a family. Twizza founder Ken Clark expanded his dairy farm into a milk shop providing quality milk to the local Eastern Cape community. The milk shop was such a success that Ken Clark was able to purchase a bigger property and his first milk pasteurizer. Crickley dairy was officially born in Queenstown, and he expanded his range to farm fresh local dairy products and juices.

In 2003 Ken Clark’s entrepreneurial spirit resulted in the launch of a carbonated soft drink brand called Twizza. Given the monopolised nature of the soft drink industry Ken Clark saw the opportunity to provide affordable refreshment to all South Africans. Providing a good quality, affordable product to the market proved to be so successful that in 2012 a second Twizza factory was opened in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. A third plant was established in 2015, in Cape Town. Today, Twizza boasts a distribution network spanning across South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique.

From humble beginnings, Twizza has since established itself as one of the country’s household beverage brands operating in the Carbonated Soft Drinks, Energy and Water categories.
