Duties
Rand Water is currently looking for a secretaty to assist by providing efficient secretarial and administrative support which contributes to the department achieving overall objectives.
- Reception of visitors screening and where appropriate deal with telephone calls.
- Manage the manager’s diary and co-ordinate travel arrangements both nationally and internally.
- Compile and type reports and presentations.
- Undertake a variety of admin tasks within general guidelines.
- Co-ordinate arrangement for a variety of meetings.
- Assemble appropriate material for meetings and conferences.
- Take dictation and transcribe from shorthand.
Requirements for Eligibility
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualifications required or equivalent or the successful completion of one of Rand water’s senior internal Management Development Programmes will be an advantage.
- Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 qualification.
- A diploma qualification /NQF 6 is a requirement.
- 2 – 3 years general secretarial, office support and administration experience.
- Computer literacy (Ms Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Office administration.
- Shorthand and minute taking.
- Office support & administration
- Computer Literaty (Advanced Ms Word & PowerPoint)
- Good communication (Verbal and Written) skills
