Duties

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to assist with the delivery of a dynamic service to the public to fulfill the mission and purpose of the Bartolomeu Dias Museum. Operational Management; Human Resoucre management; Office Adiministration; Administrative Support and Coordination.

Requirements for Eligibility

An appropriate 3 year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in public administration/financial management/stakeholder management with supervisory experience; A minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

A valid code B (or higher) driving license. NB People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Knowledge of the following: Strategic planning; Human Resource Management and Labour Relations; Budget planning; Meeting procedures. Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Communication skill (written and verbal); Problem solving; Ability to write effective reports; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
