About The Thermo Fisher Scientific Phambili Trust Bursary
The Thermo Fisher Scientific Phambili Trust Bursary is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible candidates pursuing tertiary education. The bursary will enable deserving candidates to pursue their academic goals without financial constraints, allowing them to reach their full potential.
What does the bursary cover?
The bursary will primarily cover tuition fees and living costs. Further costs, ancillary to the applicant’s studies, can be covered if there are excess funds in the bursary provided for the applicant to the tertiary institution
Requirements of Eligibility
To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- They must be black, as defined in the B-BBEE codes of good practice.
- They must come from an economically disadvantaged background and demonstrate financial need.
- They must be pursuing further education or acquiring skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at a South African tertiary institution.
- They should be under the age of 35.
