Duties

Ackermans is on the lookout for a Central Planning Administrator to assist in achieving its KPIs through the administration of all Central Planning processes.

Key Responsibilities: Markdown and deal administration

  • Evaluate, Initiate and Implement weekly mark-downs
  • Run Mark-downs for all active countries (SA, Namibia and Botswana)
  • Collate Mark-downs for each of the countries
  • Filter Mark-downs as per the company policy
  • Obtain Product Planner input on all Mark-downs
  • Sign-of Mark-down proposal with Central Planning Manager
  • Load all Mark-downs on Ukusa and inform Central Planning manager once loaded
  • Communicate Mark-down value to stakeholders (Summary to Planning Chief and Central Planning Manager for all countries)
  • Communicate Mark-downs to Operations
  • Load new stores deals and competitor store combat deals
  • Collate and communicate all deals to relevant stakeholders (all countries)

Reporting

  • Deals
  • Current Season Store performance
  • Instructed markdown summary
  • New store opening survey
  • Stock balancing
  • Ops store queries

Store analysis

  • Analysing store queries
  • Providing risk forecast to store analyst, store planners and ops based on the analysis
  • Monitoring change in stock levels and sales performance of the highlighted exceptions

Co-ordinate the seasonal look process

  • Consolidate the replenishment profiles and specialized grids bi-annually
  • Co-ordinate changes between Operations GMs and store planners
  • Communicate changes to VM to complete the digital seasonal look for stores

Requirements for Eligibility

Essential

  • Administrative experience
  • Working experience in the latest Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint & Advanced Excel)

Preferred:

  • Experience in analysing information
  • Previous work experience in Retail

  • A Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
