The IDT is inviting applications from unemployed graduates who seek to acquire meaningful work experience in the various
fields as identified below and are interested in joining the Independent Development Trust as a potential employer. This is
not permanent employment but an opportunity for unemployed graduates to acquire relevant experience.

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be in possession of a National Diploma (Advanced
Diploma) /BTECH/Degree in any of the fields mentioned above.

About The Independent Development Trust(IDT)
The IDT is mandated to support all spheres of government with social infrastructure management and programme implementation. The IDT portfolio of programme is broadly categorised into social infrastructure programmes and social development programmes.
Social infrastructure programmes entail the provision and maintenance of infrastructure facilities that enable government to deliver social, basic and community services to its citizens. Social infrastructure projects include schools, Early Childhood Development Centres (ECDC), clinics, hospitals, courts, community halls, portable water and sanitation infrastructure, etc.
The IDT is a schedule 2 public entity, established as a development management agency. Its primary role is to influence, support and add value to the national development agenda. The IDT is mandated to measurably impact on the eradication of poverty
and to improve the quality life of poor, rural and marginalised communities
